Oh boy, he's been the best cop in town since his return from an injury.

Now, he's got 7 wins in a row and he only allowed more than 2 goals twice (with one game being the 52 save victory over Panthers).

He's back to league's top 10 in terms of SV% and that's behind an injury weakened defense.

And speaking of the Hart race...Without Bob, Columbus is 1-7-1 and 12-8-1 with him.

well geez Nashviiile is 20-6-1 with Rinne and 0-2-1 without him...

I mean, come on, teams tend to suck without their starting goalie... he's had a good two weeks, but he's go a way to go before he's a Vezina candidate much less Hart

This is a woeful comparison. Columbus has like 10 players missing due to injuries, most of the nights Bob has to play behind a half AHL defense and he still performs. Rinne has Weber and the rest of the bunch. Although, I do admit Rinne is leading the race as of now.

It's a little premature for this. He's been probably the hottest player in the league over the last couple weeks, but he got off to a poor start even before his injury.

Also, CBJ is undefeated with Dubinsky this year. So obviously he gets the hart :sarcasm:

He'll have to go full Jose Theodore 02 and carry his team to the playoffs in the second half of the season to even get considered.

Technically he's not top 10 in save percentage. That being said he's had a great year. But he is nowhere near the Vezina talk at this time.
In fact this thread should be changed to Roberto Luongo IMO.

Settle down. One is hot right now and one has been battling injuries all season.

Yeah I'm not convinced one way or the other on that debate. Two very good goalies.

Bob has been amazing. But yeah. This is the right idea.

Hutton also has Weber in front of him and he's 0-2-1. Rinne also has a woeful offense with AHL forwards to score for him so he's under pressure to keep the score low.
