This might be a bit of a stretch to include in these boards, but I thought some of you folks might enjoy this stuff. I have worked for a Tanzanian safari outfitter for the past 13 years and while I have been on safari a bunch for work, I never really brought a proper camera until this past month. I saw and experienced some extremely cool stuff this past safari...so here are a few shots of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Great Rift Valley of northern Tanzania. It’s an amazing country. Enjoy!

Very very cool...thanks for sharing.

I've been lucky enough to travel in Mali , Nigeria and Ethiopia and your pictures truly capture the special feel and grandeur of Africa

Makes me want to go back and this time bring a camera.

Is that picture of that famous wildebeest water crossing where crocodiles wait for them?

Beautiful pics.

Thanks! Yes. The river crossings occur at two rivers over the course of the year. The Grumeti River in May/June and then the big crossings happen on the Mars River July-October. We saw one crossing that involved 100,000 wildebeest.

There are some great photos there. Thank you for sharing!

I did a couple of safaris in Kenya and one in Botswana and loved them. Your pictures bring back memories (although my travels weren’t so long ago at all).

Wow, cool to hear others have been as lucky as I have. I need to get you Okavango one of these days!

Hit me up. If we could get 8 HF Boards members on board, I could put together something awesome. These trips usually pricey but I can definitely sharpen the pencil and key in on killer wildlife for less $$. My two pals who have never left the country are going in two weeks and I hooked them up.
