Who else wants to see Batherson up with Tkachuk and White for a game? I’m game give Brown a fair shake. But I really really would love to try out the former. I think Duclair would to just fine with Brown and Pageau who can hound the puck and clear space for him.

- surprisingly another win regardless that it's the preseason anytime Ottawa beats the stinking Leafs is a good game.

- another game where Ottawa played a physical game & that is how you beat skilled soft teams like the stinking Leafs. Really love the structure that Smith has brought to the team & this aggressive forecheck.

- I'm gonna guess that Smith wants Nick Paul to be a PK specialist. He had him out for a number of PKs & Paul played pretty well defensively.

- love the way Tkachuk plays & thought that White had a good 200' game. Also thought L. Brown had a good game & made several good plays, IMO he is going to make it difficult to keep him off the starting day roster. I assume Brown, Formenton, Batherson & Paul to start the yr or better put, get a few games to start the yr.

Too many years this team has had problems with the long change in the 2nd, and finishing in the 3rds. We need a better strength & conditioning coach.

Nah man. That's coaching and systems. Team just plays a very passive game with the lead (and a very passive penalty kill). Sad to see them continuing to play this game under DJ.

Worth it. Granted I could be wrong, but I think that a player has to be under contract to be fine eligible, and he’s on a PTO. Not sure if there’s a precedent for that already set. Likely would face a suspension for a game/games in the pre season though. Not like he’s making the team anyway.

He's going to tell his grandchildren about this game. Big hit, a fight and triggered HHOF Auston Matthews.

Probably tell his grand kids about winning a mem cup and playing 300+ pro games first. He is going to play for Belleville this season and if the sens need toughness he might even get into the lineup. He is an AHL player.
