I'll say this - if by some miracle of God the Sens are able to compete in a couple of years with a young, cheap roster largely bereft of big money players, (sort of a Pesky Sens 2.0) you'll see all kinds of teams trying to copy our example.
If we are truly going down this road, though, we'll have to buy out a couple of the last remaining veterans like Smith and Anderson. (Condon needs a buyout also.) These guys are taking up the roster spots of younger, better players. I know the owner doesn't like buyouts, but in this case they are necessary.
