Sounds like me. I hated Rollie Pollie Ollie... although I hated most/all children's programming except for Arthur when I was younger.

That's because kid programming, like most things these days, caters to the lowest common denominator. It's not that it didn't have redeeming values: most of us just outgrew them pretty quickly.

My dad works in safety, so I was forced to watch a bunch of those cartoons where they preach bike helmets and elbow pads and all that good stuff. Sorry, but anything other than "Stay alert, stay safe" was lost on me. Bert and Ert were the ****.
