Fine by me.
Tourists can stay in Gan and Rockport.
Got two free tours today. One walking and one sampling delicious Belgian food and beer.
I dig it I always wanted more rated R super hero stuff.
I also like the actor who plays homelander he was really good in another great show called Banshee which I highly recommend except its last season.
You need to try to find a bottle of Westvleteren while you're in Belgium.
It's gonna cost you at least 10 euros for a bottle, probably more, but it's litetally the best, most complex beer in the world.
If you're a beer guy, it's basically the Babe Ruth Rookie Card of beers.
Brewed by monks in limited quatities only available through the monastery from what i understand. Sounds very intriguing... Apparently resale is discouraged.
I bought 3 bottles (the last 3 they had in stock) the last time I was in Leuven. Found it at a little beer shop in the center of town, I think I paid around 11 or 12 euros each.
It was worth it. The most interesting and complex beer I've ever drank by a MASSIVE scale.
Apparently you can buy a max of one case per car uning a drive through option or 2 six packs by going to a shop at the monestary or something. They don't sell it for resale at all and have no interest in expanding production to do so. I found an article from 2014 about them. Apparently a beer ranking website named them #1 in the world and it pissed them off because now they had too many people trying to buy their beer...
Getting a puppy at this point in my life was probably not a smart move
Why is that?
Puppies are fun! Like toddlers that never stop being toddlers, but less sass usually.
I live 22 minutes from my work. So it takes my entire lunch break to drive home, let him out and then give him his lunch. Plus I am a single parent so my plate was pretty full.
He is a cute little thing.
The First PM of Canada, was Sir John A Macdonald.
Yes, most people make that mistake, or sometimes they even leave out the "c", but as Canadians we should know this.
Yes, a lot of people depart the 401, at Kingston for lunch, and to fuel up their car, when traveling between Toronto and Montreal, or Toronto and Ottawa.
Do you think I give a **** if I spell that drunken mass murderers name wrong?
I am sure there is a service you can pay to do this for you
I am sure there is, and there is a "dog spa" on the way into work.
However, he needs his second set of shots and then it takes 30 days for the rabies vaccine to be considered active. so he cant be around other dogs for a while still.
Ya I meant pay someone to come at lunch let him out and feed him. But ya after his shots there are lots of options depending on how much you want/will pay. Anyway don't regret getting the dog it will get easier and it will be worth it especially if the kid(s) love the dog.
Hold strong, he'll make a couple messes along the way but it's worth it when he grows out of the puppy stage. Don't get rid of him!
I usually do a weekend getaway to Kingston every 2nd or 3rd summer. Kids always enjoy the fort, maybe a boat cruise, and last year we did the tour of the pen (which was great)
Always enjoy it so I'm a big fan of Kingston.
But I do think they could do more with that waterfront and make it a more appealing tourist destination.
Even by today's standards, you're off base with your opinion, but you're entitled to it.
I have no intentions of giving him up. He is staying with us. Just wish I had a few more ducks in a row before I adopted him.
All good! You sound busy. No rest for the wicked. I think you can get machines that dispense food at predetermined times so it may save you a drive during the day eventually.
Its better for his training and social development to do it in person.
I am used to this sort of stuff. When my son was born his mother went through major issues (she is type 2 bipolar and portpartum really pushed her down) so every day I would wake up, feed the munchkin, play with him, get him dressed, get ready myself, go to work, come home feed him lunch, make sure his mother had something to eat, drive back to work, come home make dinner and play with him until bath time. Then we would snuggle on the couch, watch the first period of game then put him to bed.
Any tax specialists here? Looking at buying a property in Quebec while continuing to live downtown Ottawa and this stuff is convoluted as hell. I am also looking for good CPAs that specialize in this area. @coladin you know any savvy Italian accountants that know about this stuff?
Property or another house?
I live in a big rental apartment right now with a cool landlord for a nominal monthly fee. So instead of buying a house since inventory sucks and the market sucks, I want to buy a cottage on the Quebec side because there is a thriving Airbnb economy there. I would use it a lot personally but rent it out when Im not there. I can build equity and come out with a totally paid off cottage/income property in 4-5 years. So yes, I'd be living in a rental apartment and owning a recreational property.
Find a tax specialist in Quebec.
Ask him how primary residence rules will affect your capital gains if you buy a house before selling your cottage.
