I consider the white-base heritage jersey has different than the black-base because they were saved for the heritage classiq. According to http://www.nhluniforms.com/Senators/SenatorsNEW.html the black-base was released in 2011. However, I voted for the 2014-Present Special "Heritage Classic" since there's no other option.

I don't know - didn't realize this was an ongoing thing. I see what you mean now by saying "our first place winner" and showing EK - did not realize that was referencing a previous thread.

Still think you are splitting the vote on the old white jerseys. The difference is so minor. Why not differentiate when the numbers changed? Or the edge 1.0 and 2.0? As was mentioned in the last thread, the original 3D logo had a change as well, yet that jersey only appears once. You can actually see the change in the "swoosh" jersey pic and the black with gold stripe jersey pic you posted.

I agree, I think that really messed up the voting. The combined voting for the pre-edge white jersey would have won the first poll.

Also the black jersey. Separating "1995-1997 Away Black With White Stripes" and "1997-1999 Away Black With Laurels" is unnecessary. It's just splitting the vote over what is essentially the exact same jersey.

1997 white jerseys for sure as the 2nd, but also like the white Heritage.

If we'd be allowed a white alternate, those would be my pick for the ongoing rotation.

I agree, although I'd take away the original barber pole option.

If you really want to be technical, there are many minor changes to the jerseys over the years such as the ones I mentioned in the previous thread that have already been brought up here, as well as small changes like going from ultrafil to air knit, or branding changes like going from CCM to the RBK vector logo, or going from the RBK vector logo to the Reebok word mark.

The poll is a fun idea, but separating the exact same design by one very minor tweak has obscured the results. Especially when other minor tweaks haven't been given as poll options. If we were going with every different jersey the Senators have worn based on small changes, the list would be something like 20 jerseys long.

Seconded - splitting the original jerseys into two separate jerseys because of laurels seems a bit silly and unnecessarily divides the vote.
