Possible this is just a paper move. Everyone on an AHL roster today is eligible to play in the playoffs. Possible they immediately get recalled.

The only confusing thing is why all eligible players were not paper waved to load up Belleville for a potential playoff run, other than being mandated to have 20 live bodies wearing the uniform, there is nothing to be gained at the NHL level at this time.

Roster doesn't look good but is probably better than you might think.

Ive followed since 93. I dont really count a few years into expansion. To be more clear I would say the worst cap era team we have ever iced, and I would throw it up initially as one of the worst cap era rosters iced in the NHL, but would have to research further.
