That's true. It still needs to be said that the frequent breaks and back-to-backs has been ridiculous. Im curious to see how we respond coming off the break.

Period 3 - Try to attempt a comeback but still fall well short

Boucher - Given our first game back from a long break, we played well. The guys are improving. They are the 2 times stanley cup winner and have the best 2 players in the world, but we were right in it... if you take the first 2 periods and umm we could've won the game... if we just scored 3 more goals

So accurate.. I don't think I've ever heard a coach at any level of any sport conjure up nonsense the way Boucher does. He's either delusional or arrogant; maybe some combination of both.

Players don't want to start the season earlier.

Players don't want to end the season later.

Players want a mandated week off.

Players want longer Christmas break.

Players want this day and that day off.

Players don't want a shorter season with smaller salaries.

But players will complain about how dense the schedule is throughout the majority of the season.

The irony is funny.
