As we have been doing since 2004, we are going to use the HF criterias for prospect eligibility (less than 65 NHL games and under 25 y/o). Anyway, I don't see a debate for any candidate this year so that makes it easier

Remember to vote based on all factors and not just NHL readiness. Overall skillset, hockey IQ, upside potential vs floor, age, stats, skating ability, array of shots, leadership qualities, size/strength, etc

Personally, I always ask myself, who would I draft BPA among these players?

Try to do some research on these kids, particularly the most recent ones. People are free to post links and videos about some of the prospects that should be voted soon, or even try to persuade others why a guy should be voted next! Spread info to help people vote.

Graduated players from 2021 (who are still in the organization) :

Erik Brännström and Alex Formenton. I'm also not including Vitali Abramov as he won't be back to NA before 25 y/o at least

To be added :

Philippe Daoust
Maxence Guénette
Oliver Johansson
Leevi Merilainen
Benjamin Roger
Kevin Mandolese
Carson Latimer
Cole Reinhardt
Jonathan Aspirot
Chandler Romeo
Jakov Novak
Jonny Tychonick
Luke Loheit
Filip Nordberg
Oskar Pettersson
Stephen Halliday
Jorian Donovan
Cameron O'Neill
Kevin Reidler
Theo Wallberg
Tyson Dyck

Damn, I don't know if the site is messed with pop ups or my internet provider security stopped doing its job but I messed up the poll a little

Can a mod fix Sokolov name? And also make the votes public?

Thanks

Did this get posted before the poll options were completed?

might need to clear the poll and restart it if so,

This one is interesting because I do wonder who are good forward prospects are once you get past the more obvious ones like Pinto & Grieg (and Ostapchuk I suppose). I don't see many Belleville, AHL, CHL, etc. games, so I don't have much info (other than what people post here). Mostly I'm wondering if there's any forward prospects (besides the obvious ones) that have top six potential, or even 3rd line.

Ok, I'll reset it but I can't seem to make the votes public. If you want that, I'll delete the thread and you can restart fresh

I guess we can go one round without the possibility of directly blaming a poster for not voting our favorite prospect. It sucks but it is what it is :sarcasm:

Thanks

Call me crazy, but I like Kelly. Been rooting for that kid since he was drafted.

He and Jarventie are the only two I think will get more than 200+ NHL games under their belts at this point onward.

I share your enthusiasm for Kelly. In my opinion, he and Kastelic are overlooked because their ceiling is probably 4th line players. However, I would wager that Kelly and Kastelic will play more NHL games than most or all of the other prospect options.

Between Kelly and Kastelic, it is hard to tell who should be ranked highest. I voted for Kastelic because he is a center, and seems to be a bit more punishing with his physicality than Kelly.

more about not playing for a year while we have a chance to see the others are doing.
Jarventie's game really took some steps last year. Looking forward to seeing him. I think the points will be there this year. His skating is already pretty good. Listed at 6'3 205 he is getting bigger and stronger as well.
