Any of the following: Luchuk, Gagne, Lajoie, Crookshank or Gruden.

Personally I like me some ANGUS Crookshank.

I don't remember having such a nice top-12. There's a drop-off now but a few interesting prospects left that still have a chance to put it all together (and some just drafted)

Lajoie, Gagne, Hogberg, Harpur, Paul, Crookshank and Perron should complete the top-20. But even then, Gruden, Englund, Bergman, Luchuk and Nurmi still deserve to be in the conversation. Mandolese and Novak could raise too this season. Going to be a great top-25

Here's the end of the pool just last year :

20. Miles Gendron D 6'03'' CAN/USA (University of Connecticut, NCAA) 30.77%
21. Filip Ahl LW 6'04'' SWE (Regina Pats, WHL) 40.00%
22. Jordan Hollett G 6'05'' CAN (Regina Pats, WHL) 18.52% (Won Tiebreaker)
23. Patrick Sieloff D 6'01'' USA (Binghamton Senators, AHL) 30.77%
24. Joel Daccord G 6'03'' USA/SUI (Arizona State University, NCAA) 36.00%
25. Kelly Summers D 6'02'' CAN (Clarkson University, NCAA) 36.00%
26. Todd Burgess C 6'02'' USA (RPI, NCAA) 42.86%
27. Macoy Erkamps D 6'00'' CAN (Wichita Thunder, ECHL) 35.00% (Won Tiebreaker)
28. Cody Donaghey D 6'01'' CAN (Charlottetown Islanders/Sherbrooke Islanders) 46.15%

None of them who are still in the organization should be in the top-30 this year... maybe Daccord.

There's a great opportunity to build a solid team if they could retain a core of Stone, Duchene, Karlsson and Chabot (as well as strong supporting players like Pageau and Dzingel)

Don't consider him a prospect anymore, but since he's on the list - Ben Harpur is my vote.

Still think he could carve out a career as a good bottom pairing shutdown D.

Harpur as he seems to have graduated to the NHL, even though I have doubts that he will stay there very long. Perhaps have a career like Cowen or Wiercioch at best. But it is up to him to play to his strengths which include size and physicality.
