Senators Prospects Top 40 (2013) + Past Rankings:

Prospect Criteria:

A player will be considered a prospect until he meets the following criteria:

If a prospect is a skater (forward, defenseman) and has played in 65 NHL games or more before the completion of the season of his 24th birthday; or, if a goaltender has played in 45 NHL games before the completion of the season of his 24th birthday, that player will be considered graduated to the NHL. Conversely, if a player completes the season of his 24th birthday without passing those milestones, then that player will no longer be considered a prospect by Hockey’s Future, regardless of the player’s status with his NHL club.

An NCAA player who signs his first contract at or above the age of 22 has three years to meet the above criteria (65/45), while those NCAA players that turn pro under the age of 22 will be subjected to
the criteria above.

European players who sign their first NHL contract at or above the age of 22 have three seasons from the time they sign that contract to meet the above criteria. Those European players below the age of 22 that have signed a NHL contract will be subjected to the criteria in section one.

Tell me who to add next.

After Schneider I could easily see a reason to vote for Lindberg, Paul, Shore, McCormick, Baillargeon or Wideman. I have no idea.

Lindberg/Baillargeon.

I personally don't know too much about Schneider, but he seems to be getting a decent amount of attention considering.

Paul is a scrub, I'm going for Lindberg

I worked in the OHL last year for one of North Bay's division rivals. He's certainly not a scrub.

But I'm always intrigued when someone makes such a bold statement about a prospect we picked up less than a month ago. Just how much have you seen of Nick Paul?

I just don't think that he'll amount to much at the NHL level, hope he proves me wrong.

Kinda shocked to see Dunn go this early. I'm not that high on him personally.

I've voted McCormick the last four times now, I think he's going to be a great player for us someday. He's going to have a strong season in Bingo this year.

Voted Paul, basically in the hopes of willing him to be better than he probably is.

I haven't seen a lick of Lindberg so I can't vote for him yet.

It's a toss up between Harpur and Paul for me. Paul likely has the higher upside but I see an NHL dman when I watch Harpur. He's gets the vote.

Cole Schneider should win this in a landslide and somehow isn't. Dunno how Dunn got voted ahead of him. This guy could easily play in the NHL next year.

Paul was one of the best prospects at the development camp this summer, he was really good at the scrimmage Friday night.

Cole Schneider gets my vote this time....................

Add who others want
He has been getting my vote for the past 6 rounds.
