Prospect Criteria:

A player will be considered a prospect until he meets the following criteria:

If a prospect is a skater (forward, defenseman) and has played in 65 NHL games or more before the completion of the season of his 24th birthday; or, if a goaltender has played in 45 NHL games before the completion of the season of his 24th birthday, that player will be considered graduated to the NHL. Conversely, if a player completes the season of his 24th birthday without passing those milestones, then that player will no longer be considered a prospect by Hockey’s Future, regardless of the player’s status with his NHL club.

An NCAA player who signs his first contract at or above the age of 22 has three years to meet the above criteria (65/45), while those NCAA players that turn pro under the age of 22 will be subjected to
the criteria above.

European players who sign their first NHL contract at or above the age of 22 have three seasons from the time they sign that contract to meet the above criteria. Those European players below the age of 22 that have signed a NHL contract will be subjected to the criteria in section one.

Tell me who to add next.

Lindberg.

I think a lot of people are going to vote Dunn because of more exposure.. Neither have built on their draft seasons. So it's hard to say Dunn is better at this point. It should be interesting with both of them playing in Canada next year to compare who's better at this point.

Where the Cup is
Try Try again................

Going with Cole Schneider again this round..................

I like him as I think he is overlooked on this blog as he was Not a drafted player, but signed as a free agent out of college by Ottawa.......

As to who to add next go with whoever others want......

Voted for Schneider but a case could be made for all of Paul, Lindberg, Dunn and even Harpur and McCormick

That being said, I want to vote Baillargeon soon, he's going to be a lot higher next year

Our top-20 still looks very good IMO, we just lost a bit at the top and the bottom.

I voted Ben Harpur. He had a really good season and was invited to Canada's WJC camp. I think he has a future with the club, he looks really good.

I also voted Harpur. It's a big group and they're all approx the same rating for me. I have a feeling he's an NHL player though - veryu big, can skate and that alone usually gets you a sniff. Didn't appear to be a stiff at all when I saw him. I think he's a pretty solid prospect that has a chance.

Now it's all a battle between higher likelihood NHL players with low ceiling or lower likelihood NHL players with high ceilings.
