News Article: Senators will be in lockdown as they head to Colorado and California

With eight of the 10 players out of COVID-19 protocol, the Senators will start this trip under last year’s rules of engagement which means they’ll be in a bubble as much as humanly possible.

That means all meals will be eaten at the hotel, either in a group setting with the team or takeout. All of the travelling party — management, players and coaches — won’t be allowed to leave the hotel unless they’re going outside to get some fresh air and even sitting down in a coffee shop isn’t allowed.
