Would never happen but the leafs could technically afford him and the big 3. They'd literally go with a skeleton core elsewhere and likely trade kadri, but it would be hilarius

Hahaha I'm assuming if this is the case then Vegas is probably out. Securing an extension with some other team kills Vegas' leverage and drives Karlsson's price back up.

Won't lose sleep if we don't get him tbh. We'll be fine.

Good, at least we'll maximize the return. What can you say? If he wants out, then so be it, get everything you can for him.

Oh wait...it's Brooks...come on.

If they trade karlsson might as well clean house and move Duchene right back out

Then they can take and get Jack Hughes because there is no way theyre missing their 1st round pick next year right? RIGHT???

Holy hell it just gets worse by the day in ottawa

San Jose has the space to take on Erik Karlsson and Bobby Ryan if they trade Justin Braun and Melker Karlsson; this is if they don’t sign Chris Tierney. Melker Karlsson is trash and has negative value so they can just trade him elsewhere and add a pick if necessary. Tierney is an RFA who will get around $2.5M-$3M.

Justin Braun + Chris Tierney + Timo Meier or Kevin LaBanc + Joshua Norris + 2020 1st for Erik Karlsson and Bobby Ryan?
