Tough loss the way it happened. Refs put the whistles away a bit too early the Blues got away with a lot in the 3rd.

It matters for my sanity as a fan lol. Even though it's completely irrational giving up Jack Hughes is a tough pill to swallow.

I mean the lottery is pretty random nowadays so heck finishing 25th might get Hughes who knows. We’re not making the playoffs so none of this matters.

Advantage Blues have directly over us is defensemen..Paraynko, Gunnersson, Bowmeister, Pietrangelo all were solid

If you need to wait 30 minutes with your glove on the puck before the refs wake up and blow the whistle...

Why not have Big Bufyglien coming at full speed and axing the goalies glove until the puck goes loose?

Ya it's completely irrational. Logically, finishing last would be better. Hughes has greater chance of going west and we get 32nd pick. Irrationally it's just another smack in the face of the forever tortured sens fan.

Sens just don’t get the benefit of the doubt on those. Been that way for years.

Don’t think it’s on purpose it it’s the same as a team like the Jaguars not getting the same calls as the Patriots.

I still bitch about Hossa being hauled down in front of a wide open net with the puck vs. NJ in the conference finals right before Friesen scores so

The NHL really needs to work on consistency. And enough with the "putting the whistles away."

It gets harder and harder to watch this game. If it isn't systems killing the creativity of the game, it's the refs deciding to make the rules as they go.

Get Nilsson back in the net - he’s so calm and smooth the team has much better flow with him in net

I mean, hard to argue with this but at the same time, Andy played amazing tonight and deserved a better faith.

Watching Nilsson he’s so good at handling the puck it helps out the D so much. He’s also really calm.

Great effort, the team cares.

Someone texted TSN1200 post game about whether the refs intended to blow the whistle or not. Simmer said in this case the refs did not intend to blow.

Intended or not the refs did blow..... that call!
