U U Uvira

His father was a pro too. He just signed a contract in Germany for a "few years". He was good at the U20

in the german league 2 he played with good physicality and has good skills. He is a hard working guy. He needs time (and more time) to get better. I wouldn't mind drafting him in the 5th or 6th Round.

He's on the ISS "risers" list - http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articles/13066/iss_top30_risers_and_fallers_may2011/

Sebastien Uvira, F, Landshut Cannibals
With so many scouts coming to glimpses of Rieder and a couple of the other German prospects, Uvira came out of nowhere and really stole the show for the Germans during the U18s on his home soil. His ultra-competitive, no quit, take no prisoners style allowed him to really stand out and although it was expected that he would slow down as the tournament went, he only got better when the big guns for the Germans fell to injuries.

Basically, he wasn't on the map whatsoever until his U-18 performance. He started off well and seemed to get better just when several of the important guys were injured.

It should be interesting to see if a team takes a chance on him. As we know, there are one or two NHL clubs who tend to take a German almost every draft.

Just to let you know, he played a grand total of 85 games this past season and totaled 26-25-51 and 170 PMs.

He is already 6'2" and 198 lbs. He's scheduled to part of the Augsburg Panthers system next season.
