I would be pretty upset if we gave up a pick to keep Brown while Seattle is laughing at getting the better player Johnsson and a pick for free.Matthews
Tavares
Marner
Nylander
Kadri
Hyman
Kapanen
Rielly
Gardiner
Dermott
Anderson
We likely lose Brown/Johnsson/Leivo
wouldnt be suprised if we gave up a pick to keep Brown
Hyman is easily replaced!
Well,He wouldn't be on my radar for top 6 if I were starting a team!He has a nice hard working skill set, hard to find guys like that. You need 1 or 2 guys like that on a team, its a good thing.
Brown is not good enough to give up a pick for to keep, especially when Johnsson is the better player and not protected.Matthews

Rekt himNo. No we do not.
No matter what happens over the next two seasons he is already exempt.
Do yourself a favour and research expansion rules. Hint: Start with ELC slide. I'll save you a little time. Liljegren's birthday is in April.
Yeah I agree. But, he’s babs GuyBrown is not good enough to give up a pick for to keep, especially when Johnsson is the better player and not protected.
You're confusing the word 'suck' with a sophomore slump.Really, really hope they lose Zaitsev, who sucks.

Is the expansion protection model written in stone or is there ant thought that you don't need to lod up a first year franchise to be a top 5 team in the league??

Is anyone able to explain how Liljegren and Sandin will be effected by this?
Are either of them exempt?
I think it might depend on whether or not they play in the NHL next year. Could be wrong, though. Is anyone able to explain how Liljegren and Sandin will be effected by this?
