Took the train down to Seattle recently to see a concert. Not going to lie, I didn't like the city at all.

Yeah I tried giving Nirvana a serious listen a few months ago and was not impressed.

It made sense in angsty, awkward early 90's suburbia but I can't stomach their stuff as an adult with the exception of the first album, which I still kind of like.

I enjoy rain as well.

Their rain is seasonal, they don't get too much rain during the summer. The winter's not too bad either except for the fact that you don't see much sun from November to February; after all, you don't need to shovel rain.

Of course, if you're into snow, there's tons of places within a few hours of Seattle that get absolutely day-after-tomorrow-annihilated with snow every year.
