I don't mind the idea of having a "capologist" as long as a more hockey oriented guy is appointed as well. Dorion needs someone knowledgeable and experienced in the room to bounce ideas off of to keep him from blowing trades.

The front office needs a lot of different skill sets. Pierre probably has some ability in and player development, and now we have somebody with some legal capacity. But that still leaves us with huge gaps in terms of planning, vision, analytics and communication. And that's just to cover all the bases.

Never heard of the guy, which is what I have expected. They were gonna hire an unknown and fill that gap.

Why should you know him? He is well known in the business community. It is a guy to do paperwork and contracts and CBA stuff.

why hire a full time lawyer separately when you can hire one as an agm
