Haven’t noticed him too much lately. I know Cassidy really likes him, but maybe more time in Providence wouldn’t be a bad idea? I could be wrong but I think Heinen or Cehlarik would be upgrades. Or maybe they keep playing him and he improves as the season goes on. What do you think?

Not noticing a Kuraly type player isn`t necessarily a bad thing IMO, last night he was very good on the dot (not sure what his %) was, had a few nice hits, I saw at least one takeaway, also saw a giveaway. I think once the lineup settles in a bit with the return of Bergy and Backes, he too will settle in a bit.

I think you can be fairly cutthroat with players like this. He's waivers exempt and has limited upside. If he's not making an impression, there are plenty of guys who deserve a chance to show what they got in his spot.

Love him on the forecheck but he's had two absolutely brutal neutral zone turnovers this season. He's gotta cut that out.

sure he does, let`s also remember, this kid has less than 20 NHL games under his belt, I`d be far more shocked to read or see him play and not give the puck up.

This is the risk with kids, they make mistakes, sometimes more glaring than a vet.

Solid player that has the work ethic, reach, skating

Reminds me of pj axelsson

He has to cut out taking dumb tic tac penalties thoughs....he does make up by drawing a fare share though

Kuraly has all the tools be a solid 4th liner, not off to a great start this year but I expect him to improve.

I respect doug mclean alot as a media talent evaluator. Remember mclean being high on kuraly from the day we picked him up... i started my gut feeling he would work out then

And got stronger with a good playoff performance

Its easy to forget he is a raw rookie because he is able to contribute like a seasoned vet. I never see a top 6 role in his future but an average 3rd liner or very good 4th liner seams a good bet to me

He might make occassional mistake but his speed size and decent skill is going to allow him to be a difference maker in his limited role

Kuraly seems to get better from game to game. Sometimes we forget that this kids is in his first real season. So I want to give him some credit. He and Acciari played well against the Pens and showed some physicality.

Hope his offense is coming together as well. That goal was a goalscorer's one and I loved his steal in the third period where he then took the shot on the short side.

A little off topic at the end because I read those talks about Debrusk looking like Samsonov's twin. Doesn't Kuraly kind of really look like Kurt Cobain or do I need some glasses?

Kuraly and Accari have the makings of an excellent 4th line. They are a handful when they play simple. Get the puck in deep and beat up the opposing defense and cycle.

Kuraly has definitely progressed as the season has moved along.

I'd love to see Vatrano grab a hold of the LW job on a line with Kuraly and Acciari. Give that line some offensive pop, and a better chance to finish the all the puck Kuraly and Acciari dig out in the offensive zone. Many rag on Vatrano here, but when he's on his game, he's a fast skating, hard-charging winger, and these 3 together could cause a lot of problems for the other team with their forechecking and physical play.

Quick synopsis:

Amazing on the forecheck. Turns it over in the neutral zone far too often.

He has improved from the start of the season. He was making some really stupid penalties early on, but he has cleaned that up a great deal. He has only seen the box in 1 game of his last 12. He also plays very hard and has some skill. That goal he had against Pit was really nice. Yeah, it was an awesome pass, but Kuraly timed it perfectly and placed the shot perfectly.

Kuraly and Acciari are becoming just about my favorite Bruins...So many players to choose from right now given the exciting hockey the team is playing.

Kuraly is a real glue guy. He stops on the puck every time. I love that he is always around the puck and has the speed and IQ to get many takeaways

He is also strong along the boards which is something the B's are missing a bit with Backes out and Beleskey underperforming.

He has made several good defensive plays against some of the best centers in the league and you can tell he is a real pain in the *** to play against. And those are the types of guys you want in the bottom six.

Once everyone is healthy and Cehlarik is back...no more Vatrano please

I really didn't like Kuraly early on this season. I thought he was a liability almost every time he was on the ice, from giveaways, to poor defensive coverage, to bad penalties. But to his credit, he's really cleaned up a lot of that and is becoming and effective 3rd/4th line player.

Love the way he plays. He will never be a top 6 forward but he will play the bottom six role great, for cheap. Gimme Schaller-Kuraly-Accari 4th line for the next couple of seasons and I will be content.

Sucks that Kuraly will likely be the one sent to AHL before Thursdays game. He played well last night.

He's been quite solid recently- a bit of a tough start, but he brings some speed, decent skills for a 4th liner, skates hard, consistently works hard game in and game out, throws the body, digs for pucks- basically if Ryan Spooner played Kuraly's game with his (Spooner's) skill set he'd be worth every penny- he'd be underpaid in fact.

I hope it isn't Kuraly that goes down. Right now (I know, injury played a role) Kuraly is on pace for about 20 pts, Spooner 35 over 82 games. I know this isn't about Spooner, and no way does Spooner get waived, but I know who I'd rather have long-term on my roster. I think Kuraly being waiver exempt could be the deciding factor.
