I heard that he rooms with Marchand on the road.

...and enjoys it.

And yet, completely deserved.

We are now one week in to Sean Couturier's reign as Selke Trophy winner. The Frank J. Selke Trophy is awarded annually to the National Hockey League forward who demonstrates the MOST skill in the defensive component of the game.

Well deserved. Long may he reign.

Can we talk about how conclusively he won it too?

The voting honestly wasn't even close. Its pretty clear he was the best defensive forward this year.

The fact that he won by so much shows he has been the best for the past few years. And clearly shows he has been better than Bergeron who clearly gets help from his teammate who received votes as well

Nice to see Coots get his due credit. Well deserved and in convincing fashion based on the vote totals. Should change the award name from the Selke to the Couturier.
