This is just unfair. Bennett can still play and the Eagles get him for next to nothing. He's going to be great in that DL rotation.

All Bennett has to do is play the rotational role guy ala Chris Long and it's a win for the Eagles.

Surely the Eagles will be distracted from winning another Super Bowl

Patriots apparently offered a 3rd and a 5th according to a radio interview with Ian Rapoport.

Good move for the Seahawks, gets rid of a guy that is absolute scum and declining on the field.

May not get much back but it is a hell of a lot more than they would get next year. Too often teams hold on to guys for too long because of what they did in the past. If a guy is done best to move on.

I don't buy it, why wouldn't they would have taken that over what Philly offered.
SEA has no third currently and would love to remedy that.

It appears the Patriots offer may have came in late or after Seattle had a handshake agreement with Philadelphia.

No secret that the Seahawks were looking to move him. Patriots waited until the last minute to make their best offer.

Trades are not official until March 14, but John Schneider of the Hawks isn't going to ruin his reputation by backing out of a handshake agreement.

Pats waited until the last minute because that's the classic Belichik move. Have another team thinking they got the player then come in and steal him away.

Bennett is still a solid guy who rebuilt his value the last couple years, but I lost a lot of respect for the guy after the Vegas incident.

I love when people show their true colours at unexpected times.

He claimed the LVPD stopped him and went after him because of his skin color.... when in fact it was because they told everyone to sit down and he made a run for it out the door.... they thought he may have been the perp.
