I really do not understand what the Marlins are thinking here. The back end of the bullpen, especially Ramos, has been the LEAST of their problems. The STARTING pitching, save for Jose, has been hot garbage. We desperately need starting pitching help, not another closer.

The downer on the Padres end is that they had to eat about 30 million of the remaining Shields deal to facilitate a trade. But I suppose it could have been worse (looks at Matt Kemp trades).

Didn't realize Paddack was from the Rodney deal.
