Bought a Hartnell Down t-shirt. Met him passingly in Old City after the trade to Lumbus. Hope the best for him after retirement, would enjoy him on Flyers broadcast tv. Had he been a bit younger, he would've flourished with a more social media present environment, like a PK Subban, or JR. Missed opportunities.

The lean-in he did with Hartnell Down was just fantastic, really can't say enough about his humility, and his capacity to do good off the ice (tax-breaks blah blah blah aside.)

Really sad to see him retire, was always a huge fan. Hartnell Down was a great way to give back. I'll have to put my Hartnell jersey in a shadow box now I guess.

Seemingly a great guy but an incredibly frustrating player (especially when on your own team).

Guy frustrated me as much as any Flyers player I can think of.
