Bought a Hartnell Down t-shirt. Met him passingly in Old City after the trade to Lumbus. Hope the best for him after retirement, would enjoy him on Flyers broadcast tv. Had he been a bit younger, he would've flourished with a more social media present environment, like a PK Subban, or JR. Missed opportunities.

The lean-in he did with Hartnell Down was just fantastic, really can't say enough about his humility, and his capacity to do good off the ice (tax-breaks blah blah blah aside.)

Hartnell had some big moments as a flyer. The 2010 playoffs was probably some of his best hockey though.

Congrats on a great career, enjoy your retirement Mr. Hartnell.
