if he puts all the pieces together he could be a keeper, if not he could have a similar story to Dan Cleary. Another kid who jumped onto the OHL scene as a dynamic rookie only to slip in his draft year and fail to put all the pieces together since.

How has he slipped? Production wise? I think the simple answer to that is he is on a much deeper team now than he was last season, and thus isn't really the "go to guy" all the time. It's to be expected that his numbers wouldn't wuite be the same, although he has had a good year.
