Not crazy about 8 years, but I the AAV makes it much more palatable. One down, one to go.
I’m totally okay with that route though. The window is now and Armstrong has never been afraid to go for it. I like it honestly.I'm good with this. Going all in on term with everyone will be the fall pretty hard, but the next 4-5ish years will be good.
Right. Now that we won the Cup, it's time to go all in. Petro will definitely be signed now. 8 years, 8.5.I’m totally okay with that route though. The window is now and Armstrong has never been afraid to go for it. I like it honestly.
Yeah, it's nice to finally have a solid center core.AAV much lower than I anticipated. I love Schenn and having ROR-Schenn-Thomas-Barbashev locked down for the foreseeable future is pretty incredible. I don't want to turn this into a Petro thread, but this does give Army a more clear picture of the money he has to offer Petro.
Love Schenn, love the deal even if the back couple years suck. It's the price of locking up young talent long term.
I never question his hustle. Good mix of skill and grit. He's good by me.Is he the kind if player you give 8 years to? I'm not convinced.
The AAV allows you to keep the current core together. This team's window is right now and Army is setting them up for 4 more years of the best Blues hockey we've seen.Is he the kind if player you give 8 years to? I'm not convinced.
I wonder if this means that Bozak is gone after this season to move Thomas over?
I would think Bozak and allen would both go. But those two combined would essentially cover most or all of a theoretical Petro extension.I wonder if this means that Bozak is gone after this season to move Thomas over?
