I said this was the case after the American stations released their ratings. Really not surprising and I don't know why anyone was panicking.

Game 5 also had 3.6 mil on NBC. And series average was up 0.5 mil over last year.

CBC gives Sportsnet total control and does not receive a dime in advertising - All CBC gets out of the deal is promos during the games.

Sportsnet has been using studios at CBC in Toronto since 2014 but will have new studios on their campus next season.
