I thought about making two separate threads, but the tweets all mentioned both players, and I wasn't sure the best way to do it. I was so confused! :huh:

Yes, not thrilled about Schmidt. Don't know when he got hurt. Bad enough that our forward lines are all jumbled and now some mixing of d-pairs necessary. Guessing Huntsy will draw back in if Schmidt unable to go tomorrow.

Weird that it has been this long if he's in a cast. I wonder if there was an improper diagnosis in the beginning. Standard for bone break is 3 weeks. Seems it will have been a lot longer than that if he is out another two weeks. Hopefully not soft tissue damage too. :shakehead

Standard cast time or full healthy time? Of course it depends on the bone, but my tibia plateau took almost a year to heal with no surgery.

Out of the cast and ready to play hockey are not the same thing.
