I think the game plan for the Sting today is to go out and get the best forward they can possibly get. Getting someone who can immediately step in and make a big impact in the top 6 is crucial for this team to make some noise this year. Wonder if they go after a Swede with some influence from Hjorth.

Martin Rysavy.

Couldn't tell you a thing about him but from numbers stand point it appears he has excelled at every level. 17 yr old playing in U20 with those numbers are impressive. Potential first round NHL pick next year.

Daniil Gushchin is interesting. Was taken 7th overall in last years Import Draft by Regina but didn't sign, apparently he only wants to play in the OHL or he'll go over to Europe. Was in the USHL for the last two years. Looks like a really good player.

You guys just got a stud in Alex Geci. Big kid who plays his size, good playmaker. Makes players around him better. Sometimes tries to do a bit too much with the puck tho.

Interesting they take an '03. Thought for sure it would be an '01 or '02. Regardless has put up some really solid numbers playing up in age over there.

He is for sure coming. Import draft is a crapshoot most years let alone with COVID. So to get someone who is coming is huge. Especially with his upside.

Wow that kid looks good...tall, fast, great shot, nice hands, not afraid of the dirty areas. Looks like a good centreman to play with Voit. Looks like he’s for sure coming but I need to see it in writing lol.

Talked to some people who have seen him who say similar to Ruzicka in alot of ways but just a notch better at just about everything at this age. Really excited about this pick.

I'd assume a 3 yr player for us. Some really really exciting forward talent we possess now in the '03/'04 age years.

Geci, Namestnikov, Dann, Voit, Filak, O'Donnell, McIntyre. Like the mixture of size, skill & style of these guys have.

To go along with Mast, Eveleigh & Hopefully Morden on Defense. Obviously have Gaudreau who will only keep getting better.
