Yup

Lovejoy will rotate in as the 7th defender I'm sure. He was completely fine in his role last year as the 6/7 dman and is good in the locker room, so I'm sure he'll be fine there again this year in his last year of his deal.

Definitely would like to see Santini in the starting lineup again consistently this year. Think he ultimately just became a victim of the numbers and waiver eligibility last year, nothing more or less.

One could hope... hate having #6 at LD1 but if LJ goes it'll be

Greene-Vatanen
Butcher-Severson
Mueller-Santini
Well, I don't know. I just don't like to put two offensive Dmen to the second pair and two defensive Dmen to the third pair.

Maybe something like this:

Greene-Vatanen
Butcher-Santini
Müller-Severson

I like Santini's new contract. He has tools to be a good second pair Dman, though it's more likely that he is a third pair guy.
