Beautiful B.C.
That definitely seals it, folks. Sandin scored a playoff goal so it’s been decided. Holymakinaw said it first. Done deal put it in the books
Kind of like how OP said Brannstrom is Coffey compared to Sandin because of one game, eh? Guess you dont mind that post so much but this ones got you up in arms. Wonder why that is.

This thread is interestingly funny. Brannstrom, skates like coffey?! Sandin busting after one game. Woosh, hilariously funny opinions.

I take Brannstrom here though I'm not sure their is a wrong answer either though. Both are very solid prospects who are likely to play quality roles in the league. I do think Brannstrom has a has a little higher offensive upside to give him the edge in my totally 111% not biased because I'm his team's fan or anything, opinion

Lmao, you posted a link , a year older than my link, thanks for posting I guess.
It does give us something though, he dropped from 10th to 71st, in 1 year, yikes.

You never posted a prospects link. Read it again. *sigh*

Brannstrom doesn't have the IQ Sandin has.

Sandin has 12 pts in 37 games, which is almost a 27 pt pace over 82 games.
Brannstrom has 17 pts in 63 games, which is about a 22 pt. pace.

Branstrom is the better skater.
Sandin has the much higher "hockey IQ", for sure.

Sandin is in the NHL, playing on a tough roster to crack, talent-wise.
Brannstrom plays for the Ottawa Sens...........My mom made that roster on the 3rd pairing, but she strained her MCL at camp, and also had to make my lunches, so she couldn't stay with the club.

Sandin scored that beauty playoff goal last night, cementing his win.

:)

I can’t believe it’s so hard to understand tbh.

They are pretty close. I don't see either being fantastic, but think both will be very good 2nd pair options who can play effectively on the PP bring a unique element from the back end.

Didn't vote because I haven't seen enough of Sandin to really compare. I do know that Brannstrom has yet to make much of an impact. Beautiful skater, but we'll see. For what it's worth Sandin looked really good last game.

I would say that based on my very limited viewings, Brannstrom has much higher bust potential to never live up to his draft stock. Whether that's fair or not remains to be seen.

2 good players with tremendous upside.

I don’t think either has played enough to make a fair « pace » comparison. I think it’s pretty safe to bet both will end up higher than 27 or 22 point paces if/when they cement their spot in the NHL. If they don’t, I’m not sure there will be a spot on an NHL roster for either.

“Much higher” is a stretch, no?

I would agree his hockey IQ is higher, but saying “much higher” just isn’t true, Brannstrom has very good IQ in his own right.

No, it's much higher, Man. I wouldn't make this up. It's science.

Both are trending in the wrong direction when it comes to ceiling and expectations.

Brannstrom at 21 just scored 13 points in 30 games as a stabilizer for Ottawa's top 4 in the second half of the season that saw Sens as one of the hottest teams in the league in last 15 games.

That's 36 point pace. Thats better performances than his comparables Ellis and Spurgeon due to style of play. He'll be fine. Conservatively he's a legit top 4.

Brannstrom doesn't have the IQ Sandin has.

I dont think it's that far off.

His avi is good representation of his posts. Just ignore all posts by him.

Which post am I supposed to read.
Ranking NHL's best under-23 stars: Dahlin, Pettersson or Lafreniere at No. 1?
That is a prospects list, it’s same author, just his 2021 version, you posted his 2020 version.
Maybe you could explain why it’s not a prospect list but yours is.
Both lists are U23, with less than 25 games played or some number.
That’s why Karil Kaprizov is 9th on your list, now he’s too old for the 2021 January midterm list

Read it slowly one more time.

One is a prospects list -- guys who ain't NHL players -- U23 with less than 25 games.

The other is every hockey player under-23. The only criteria is age.

They're ranking two different things. Did you not notice the first two guys on the list have +150 games??? I mean the names "Dalhlin and Pettersson" are literally in the link you posted. You think those guys are prospects? Do you even know who they are? When you tried to spike the football just now, did that occur to you?

You're trying to compare apples to oranges and I tried to go easy on you three times but I'm sorry to have to spell it out and embarrass you.
