Errey served as the captain of the San Jose Sharks for the 1993-94 and 1994-95 NHL seasons. He had previously served as an alternate captain with the Penguins for several years.

OP was asking about the A, not the C though. Did Errey wear an A in his second brief stint with the Sharks (96-97)? I honestly don't remember.

it would have to be (if he even ever wore an A with the sharks), he played 3 seasons with the sharks and 2 of them were him being captain.)

but honestly i think it was captain and nothing for his final year with the sharks.

Purchased a game used jersey of his, it has the A, came from the team.

Pictures? That would answer a few questions.

But pretty much the only year it can be (if real) is 96-97 because his other 2 seasons in san jose were served as the 2nd team captain in franchise history.
