I remember hearing a few years ago that he played the first portion of his NHL career with a broken wrist that never healed right. Imagine if he had it fixed earlier.

Still doesn't explain his Edmonton and Montreal careers.

I thought he injured that wrist in 2002? He was also allegedly out of shape when he came to camp in Montreal. Didn't help that Carbonneau hardly said a word to him all year and just completely misused and mishandled him.

Glad to see he's turned it around in Carolina. I just hope he plays like he did for us when we play Carolina.
