This is another one I’m looking forward to. Should be a close series.

New York has one of my favorite 1st lines in the entire draft, but St. John's counters Conacher quite well with Serge Savard and Don Marshall on LD and LW. Meanwhile, I don't see anyone on LD or LW on New York who can really counter Rocket Richard.

On the other hand, Busher Jackson is a much better secondary threat than Dick Duff on the top line.

The two second lines rely primarily on a single big gun - Gordie Drillon and Roy Conacher. While Weight isn't a great second liner by any means, I still trust him more than Pete Mahovlich to control the play and get the puck to his big gun.

New York really needs to take Backstrom off the PK already.
