I'm in a 20 team, deep (18/5/30: active, reserve, minors) dynasty league. We currently match the salary cap of the NHL, but we've been having problems with valuable fantasy players bring traded for nothing (Patches was just traded for two B-prospetcs) since teams are being forced to either trade them for nothing or drop them due to not having the salary space for them.
On one hand, we can increase the cap space to allow teams to keep these players and allow other teams to pick up some of our other expensive free agents. But this might also hurt parity in the league, allowing better teams to add more expensive (and probably better) assets to their team. Have any of you resolved similar problems in your leagues?
