There was a lot of that DB look initially. Lately though if you would sew a 3 after that 9 I'd believe it. I get a "Killer" vibe from young Benson.

I feel like I remember Barbashev being talked about around here a lot, maybe that's why.

Sabres had the first pick of the second round, Barbashev was sticking out like a sore thumb overnight. They drafted Brendan Lemieux. Saint Louis was two picks later...

Sabres also had two later 2nd rounders, the legendary Eric Corner and Vaclav Karabacek. You want a drought? Because that's how you get a drought.
