On a two year deal its easily low risk. You seem to be under the impression the sabres are going to use cap space for some big name. Got to let that pipe dream go.

He hasn’t played much Center the last two seasons. He can do it in a pinch, but I don’t know like the idea of him playing center for 16-18 mins per night for an entire season.

I think he can play RW just as effectively as LW. He's not really a center, but a flexible winger.
