That is the case with most UDFAs out of college, it seems.

With Wilson and D Smith hitting UFA and Elie maybe not getting a QO, signing Biro & DiPietro isn't surprising. And I'm not bullish on their NHL future.

I remember the hat-trick in that 1 game at dev camp.

I also remembered that as 'Number 45', not necessarily Dawson DiPietro. I do know he's older though, because he was when he scored that hat-trick.

His stats really aren't much different than college stats of Sheary, Fasching, Mittelstadt & ERod (pre-Eichel). He's old for a prospect but being more mature might actually help him.
