I searched but didn't see a thread on this. The tournament is just around the corner...anyone have a list of Sabres prospects that will be participating?

Samuelsson??
UPL??
Other names I've overlooked who may be considered??

It’s just those four.
All likely to have pretty important roles

Laaksonen will likely be top-4 for Finland with 2nd pair PP time (might have been top pair and top PP but unlikely with Jokiharju being loaned by Chicago now).

Luukkonen is Finland's seemingly clear #1 and should be a top goalie in this tournament.

Excited to watch Finalnd this year.

Pekar and Samuelsson likely won't have as big a role as those 2, but should likely make their respective teams. Pekar hopefully in a 3rd line role and Samuelsson in a bottom-4 defensive one.

The Finns defeated the Danes 7-0 in their first pre-tournament game yesterday. #2 Laaksonen was paired with #35 Kokkonen, while #1 UPL was not in the lineup. Links to his appearances in the highlight package: 4-0 secondary assist, 4-0 pp/pass, 7-0 primary assist, totaling two points.

The Czechs defeated the Slovaks 2-1 F/SO in their first pre-tournament game yesterday as well. #5 Pekar did not make it on the scoresheet except for a missed SO attempt in the sixth round. Highlights.

USA vs Russia is underway tonight with #24 Samuelsson paired with #2 St. Ivany per their lineup. No stream there AFAIK.

they usually do it when its in NA
It is in BC this year. World Championships are over seas. Also, unless it has changed, the groups are based on the previous years final results.

Laaksonen getting work on the PK playing his offside (LD).

6K making some nice saves - looks so much more comfortable than at the U-20's last year.

Okay, he got a little loose in the crease and Frost burns him. Ray talking about 6K overplaying to his shortside and he did there.

Comtois is a bear out there against the Finns. I'm curious who if anyone is going to offer any push physically against him in the tournament. Samuelsson seems like a good option, but that would have to be a medal round matchup.

And to beat a dead horse, but Linus Nyman (or Veini Vehviläinen) with that pick they gave up in this past draft would've been a nice late-round pick.
