He’s not worth a 1st rounder. But I could see Nylander just because you’re getting an NHL forward for a prospect that appears more than likely a bust.

He just turned 21 and has played 19 games in the NHL. I'm not prepared to say he's "more than likely a bust". This year will be telling in where he's at. Trading him for a dime a dozen middle 6 player that's almost assuredly a one year rental would be awful asset management.

Oh the old "your guy is a bust, now please gimme your guy"-routine. How creative.
No offense, but what you wrote is nonsense.

It'd be akin to asking for Lias Andersson for Conor Sheary. I mean what has Andersson proved at the NHL level? He looks like a bust to me. Best to get something for him now while you still can. Am I doing this right?

vesey is nothing — a weak player with low skill set whose possession stats are crap. He’s not much better than Pominville

Let's be serious here......Vesey is not a really skilled player but what he is, is........ a 35pt 3rd line guy at 2.2M. I think there is certainly a market for that. I am not interested in the return being Nylander. I don't think the Rangers should actually move him rather than concentrate on moving Shattenkirk, Namestnikov, and maybe Kreider first. The Rangers need some vets and keeping Vesey makes more sense than not I think.
