agree with @travis scott this is very bad for New Jersey

EDIT: sorry at work... Severson is a legit NHL DMan, while A. Nylander's progress has been poor to non existant... so noI dont see the Devils doing this

Severson while erratic has the occasional flash of superior play. He's far from consistent but it is in him. I've never seen even a spark of that in nylander. It's too soon to call him a bust but Severson is beyond his reach.

the Devils' main need is on D so they trade a young DMan signed longterm for a winger who might not even be an NHLer? How does that make sense?
