I've watched all of Disco Dan's press conferences and he is boring....all he talks about is systems, play fast, and defensive play..... nothing about compete. Nothing! How is he going to win the "most improved team" award if his team has no kumpeet?

Let's say the Sabres improve by 30 points. Will people even consider Bylsma for the Jack? The team is expected to improve and improve significantly due to the additions of Kane, Eichel, O'Reilly, et al. If you think the Jack is about improving year over year, then yeah, but it's not. It's about doing the best job with what you have and outperforming expectations. How much will Bylsma have to outperform in order to be in consideration? I'd argue quite a bit - like playoffs+

If Bylsma gets them into the playoffs he is a contender. I see the Sabres finishing about 20th overall unless we get defensive help and our goaltending holds up.
