Having seen Pilut play in Rochester a couple times I'd like to see how his skill set translates at the NHL level.

I'm thinking he'll succeed in offensive situations, and his defense will not be his strength.

I think it's a matter of his offensive acumen being greater than any defensive deficiencies.

Pretty generic assessment I know, but he's smart enough to play sound positionally.

That could explain Scandellas play compared to last year. He went from being a rock 2nd pairing quality dman to a guy many want to jettison after his deal is up. Hopefully Marco comes back 100% and returns to previous form.

And we need McCabe to come back soon. Him out long term worries me.
