I think it's getting time for everyone here who crapped on Koskinen (for reasons I haven't yet figured out) from late last season to eat some crow. The dude is a solid goaltender.

Anyway, nice win for the Oil. RNH needed points, and 'secondary scoring' like from Haas and Chiasson is a major thing.

That said, the Oilers were easily outplayed by probably the worst team in the League in the 1st period, and it probably should have been 1-0 or 2-0 Jersey before the Draisaitl goal in the second woke everyone up.

Oilers are improved this year, but if they want to be a legit team they're going to have to start being ready to go from the drop of the puck.
