Leipsic isn't really exceptional except for his shot.
everything else doesn't translate to more than bottom 6.

Leipsic is looking like a Kadri line add, geared as a shut down specialist that can still score goals.
Rychel is a dark-horse candidate to make the 2nd scoring line in a Hyman role of forechecker/net front presence. Or failing that, as a 4th line energy guy.
Not sure why we're asking who you'd rather keep as it's two dynamically different players and the decision on either will not be based on the other.
Maybe Rychel can become the new Hyman (with some actual puck skills).

I'm hoping that Rychel eventually becomes Hymans replacement on Matthews wing.
How's Rychel's play in defense? Can he play better defense than JVR in the NHL?
I'd ideally would like to prefer both. Leipsic has the higher offensive upside, but Rychel is definitely something the Leags don't have, a larger winger with grit who has a scoring touch.
hmmm... expansion draft?
