Leipsic isn't really exceptional except for his shot.

Leipsic is looking like a Kadri line add, geared as a shut down specialist that can still score goals.

Rychel is a dark-horse candidate to make the 2nd scoring line in a Hyman role of forechecker/net front presence. Or failing that, as a 4th line energy guy.

Not sure why we're asking who you'd rather keep as it's two dynamically different players and the decision on either will not be based on the other.

Leipsic is pretty underrated tbh. He's small but physical and he's so much more skilled and intelligent than Rychel. The AHL is a really tough men's league. If you can handle the physical aspects of it then you must be doing something right

This organization, including fans should be valuing skill over size

I don't think Rychel will ever get that high in the lineup but he could be a good Kadri winger when the day of 1. Matthews 2. Nylander 3. Kadri comes.

Leipsic > Rychel easily imo.

Some might look at it and say Rychel has a better chance of making it than Leipsic because of our already small size but that issue isn't really an issue. I see Leipsic replacing Komarov in the future as a speedy physical defensive winger with puck skills.

I'd ideally would like to prefer both. Leipsic has the higher offensive upside, but Rychel is definitely something the Leags don't have, a larger winger with grit who has a scoring touch.

He certainly didn't show that against Syracuse. No Grit very little scoring.

Just as Sosh and Marner fill the need that Leipsic fills, I think Hyman, Grundstrom and Korshkov fill the need that Rychel fills. Especially since they're both tweeners, you need to keep the best player regardless of what you think the team need might be. I think Leipsic has a better shot being a hard working 2-way pest than Rychel does being a Richard Panik.

Leipsic by a mile! He's an NHL-caliber player. I'm shocked Rychel has double the votes.

I would trade a few of our older guys in packages including Fehr etc to keep Leipsic Rychel Leivo. I just am far yo interested in seeing what they can do.
