I've felt like most of our team has been off, but I found out by having the stats shown to me that my feelings don't mirror reality anymore.

That said, no, our defensemen, top to bottom, have looked pretty solid to me.

As Suter gets older, he loses a bit on defense, but seems to gain on offense. Still damn good, but not the elite shutdown defender he used to be. More like a pretty good defender, who is occasionally a half step slow reacting to speed. Still like his underrated strength. The guy is a bull.

Really good when he want's to be. Can be beat wide. Uncanny ability to get pucks to the net. Great at the stretch pass.

His strength has always been massively underrated. He's not one to throw checks, but just manhandles NHLers regularly. It's really something to watch.
