Impressive play since the first game of the season, can't ask more from your number 6 guy. He's very patient with the puck and makes very smooth plays. Apparently he can scrap too!

I thought he deserved on of these.

    Thank you Blackhawks :handclap:

Also 4 points on the season already.

Ryan Stanton? More like Ryan Manton! Great pick up. He's been a solid player for us and has played very well in his given role.

Stanton has as many point in his first 8 games on the Nucks as Rome had in his first 65 or so.

Might be one player the pro scouts have actually gotten right, love his steady game and skating. Can't ask for more out of a 6/7.

I like what I see so far. He's plays a simple game with the puck and is big and fast enough that neither is a real issue for him against bottom six competition and that's all you can really ask of your #6.

I will 100% admit I was like WTF really over Weber/Alberts we're starting this guy..after 8 games Stanton has won me over. He is only 24 and has the room/ability to improve, looks like a solid number 6 guy, and he has 1 more year at 550k. I don't get the choice of Kostka or Brookbank over him but, I am selfishly happy with Chicago's call.

They had to scout JAson Garrison the 2nd hottest UFA Dman on the market that year? uhh no.

Higgins and Lapierre were decent, Lapierre more of a dime a dozen player.

We can also go through Booth, Oreskovich, Bernier etc. Far more failures than hits.

From this season alone you can add Richardson and Santorelli (so far.)

    This nickname needs more love.

Solid addition; has played far better than I expected thus far, and has looked far better than Alberts and Weber. Can't believe we plucked him off waivers.

His nickname should be Ryan Stanchion. He would immediately make Juice into an elite defenseman.

Samuelsson and Ehrhoff were good for us.

Guy is a stud. I could actually see us moving Tanev because of his development.

I'd say it's more likely GMMG moves Bieksa before he moves Tanev, if he needs to make a fit for Corrado.

Why would we need to move Tanev?

    Edler
    Hamhuis
    Garrison
    Bieksa
    Tanev
    Stanton

    That's six good dmen.

To make a splash for someone like Vanek at the deadline.
