In a season full of doom and gloom (just look at any of the HFSens threads), Dzingle has been a pleasant surprise. I tried to use the search feature and couldn't find any thread dedicated to Dizzy.

I predicted him to reach 20-goal plateau this year, but it's his overall play that has been a delight in a very dismal season. He is underrated.

I think we are seeing Dizzy evolving into a legit top-6 forward in the system. If he had better finish, he would be a superstar and be playing on top PP unit. He's a keeper.

Progressing, developing. I think he is putting to rest the questions of will he ever be able to finish scoring chances. He is improving and will continue to improve. A nice late draft find and certainly a more important player moving forward to this team.

Very impressed with him so far this season. I thought he had a floor as a solid speedy 3rd liner, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't unimpressed with the way he closed out last season and his complete lack of finish at the time. So to be wrong about him, and see the guy flourish into what he looks to be becoming is a very nice surprise. He's one of our top goal scorers currently, and he plays hard every game.

He's seemingly taken a step forward this season. Finishing on more chances and improved possession and playmaking. It's exciting that this is just his sophomore year. If he puts in another good summer and improves again next year that would be great news for us. He should be a keeper on this team because of the speed and tenacity he provides, he's a gamer.

He's playing really well this season. He only had 5 points from this day last year to finish the 2016-2017 season. It will be interesting to see if he can stay consistent.

Turning 26 in March. Under 1/2 pt a game player so far.
His overall play has improved since last year.
Speed is his biggest asset and a welcome asset to the Senators

Dizzy is David Dziurzysnki. I think you mean Dzizzy.
Old news. Dzingel is the real Dizzy, did you see him make all of Nashville dizzy in the 3rd period? I got dizzy watching him play. Man if this guy can finish more consistently :dm:.

Thought he'd reach 50 this year, still could with some more consistent wingers but will take a hot streak.

I'm not sold on him yet.

He's been legit these last few games but, overall, I'm not convinced he's more than a decent bottom 6 guy.

Which is fine, you need good bottom 6 players. I'm just not sure he'll amount to anything more than a speed specialist.

So this brings up a question I asked a couple weeks ago. Is it time to sell high? Is he having a career year at 25, or is it reasonable to expect that he'll keep this up for a few years?

Of course, if the team is trying to get faster, you want to keep Dzingel.

I would keep him... 2.1 next year is a good price for a player like him. He's a UFA after next year...
I expect he improves a little again..

Depends on the offer. Would you move him for a second? Maybe keep him if that’s all you get offered. Don’t know if anyone offers a late first. That’s tempting.

Kinda crazy how his hands suddenly started working for him this season. Blazing speed + decent hands = a fun player to watch.

I hope he keeps up with his current play. If he turns out to be another late bloomer, it'll be a huge bonus for us.

He's a good player, but he should be sooo much more with the speed he's got.
Like what though. Lots of players should be more with certain tools they have. Point is they don’t have *most* of the tools. Those are players like Crosby. Mcdavid. Malkin. Karlsson. And so on. Dzingel is what he is. Super fast decent head for the game. It’s why he’s a 2 million dollar player at 25. And not an 8 million dollar one.

Well said. Hell, I'm guilty of it, too. Look at a guy with a certain skillset and think what if he added X, he could be so much better! not realizing that I'm asking for basically a perfect player.

As it is right now, Dzingel is a really nice asset on the third line, who can fill-in on the second line. That speed creates a lot of good opportunities and adds a danger element lackign on the team. As long as we don't give him a crazy contract.
