How does the "undrafted" part work as far as free agency goes? If you get pass on your first draft, can you automatically sign as a FA as you wish?

Only CHLers can do that, as they have a window between the draft and the start of the NHL season when they can sign as UFA, everyone else have to wait until their last draft in the year when they turn 21.
